i can make almost anything work. i end up in latin am countries. where our goal is to make something work with almost no tools and spare prts are not going to be overnighted in.
one looks pretty clean. the one on the right shows corrosion around the symbolic fram. if it were tight enough then maybe the corrosion didn't make it to the groove the coil sits in. in that case these would be a great find. but without the fram lifted out it's impossible to tell.
